A few weeks ago I recommended Daniel H. Pink’s book, Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us, as the most important book you could read this year. I still mean that although I think that John Hagel’s forthcoming book, The Power of Pull: How Small Moves, Smartly Made, Can Set Big Things in Motion, may be the most important business book you could read all year. Besides reading the books, I recommend following Dan (blog & Twitter) and John (blog & Twitter). Together they make an incredible 1 - 2 combo.
After writing that post I was contacted by Dan via email with an offer to give me a few autographed books to give away. I eagerly accepted and then went to SXSW. When I came back I found a package from Dan with said books.
The Contest:
I will give away two books over the course of two weeks. One book next Monday 3/29/10 and the other in two weeks on Monday 4/5/10. In order to win you first need to join the New Comm Biz Facebook page.
In the back of Drive, Dan has a Discussion Guide. The Discussion Guide is a series of questions and discussion topics to keep the dialogue going. To make sure that the people who win are really interested in the book topic I’ll be choosing winners from the fans who participate in the questions.
So if you’re interested in winning the book, join our Facebook page, if you haven’t already, and check back to answer some discussion questions. The first discussion topic is already posted.
